I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of each person.

  • Abuse
  • Addiction
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement
  • Bullying

  • Trauma
  • Traumatic loss
  • Work related stress

Personal therapy can be a very empowering way to explore confusing and overwhelming feelings. Sometimes coping alone becomes a struggle and speaking to a professional can enable a a better understanding of feelings and behaviours in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

I believe that personal therapy has the potential to help people identify what is missing in their lives and that it is a positive investment for the rest of their lives.

It is not always easy to acknowledge the true feelings about circumstances we are faced with, and this where being in a therapeutic relationship can help to understand and be more accepting of the reasons for feeling as we do.

The first step...

The idea of contacting a counsellor for the first time can be daunting to say the least. The quality of the relationship between the therapist and client will determine the quality and value of the outcome.
In order to establish a therapeutic relationship, clients must feel safe and comfortable with the therapist and the environment. Without a mutual agreement to work together, there is very little point in embarking on such a personal journey and reaping the empowerment of the therapeutic process.
